Hello and welcome from our wee studio at the back of Edinburgh Zoo.

Voices from Scotland is a celebration of all things Scottish and we want to convey our enthusiasm via native born Scots speaking in their natural accent.

So, what subjects will be covered. The answer is that we want to feature just arbour anything that is of interest to people in other countries. We will feature history, culture, dramas such as Outlander and also promieent Scots from the past.

People like Alexander Graham Bell, who invented the telephone, Alexander Fleming, who poioneered penicillin and, of course, Robert Burns

We do not have a formal mission statement but we do have principles.

We want to be authentic – the voices you hear are from real people

We are committed to provide a great experience for the listener, sop no annoying ads between the stories.

We want to create a community
