Maggies

Since 1996, Maggie’s has been pioneering a new concept of cancer support in the UK. They provide practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer, their family and friends. Built in the grounds of specialist NHS cancer hospitals, their Centres are warm and welcoming places, with qualified staff offering an evidence-based core programme of support developed to complement medical treatment.

Hospice

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a registered Scottish charity that provide compassionate, palliative care and support for people living in South Glasgow and East Renfrewshire. Their palliative and end-of-life care services for patients, their families and carers is free.

As a charity, they receive a percentage of their funding from the NHS but rely heavily on the people of Glasgow and beyond to raise the funds needed.
